Wow, I haven't posted anything since I was like 8 months pregnant. I would really like to try to do better. I took this picture of my little girl on Monday. I thought she was looking adorable. She is almost 6 months old. On December 8th she will be. Time sure is FLYing. I loved her as a baby but she is so much fun right now. She is sitting up by herself. Rolling over. And trying to Crawl backwards. She loves to laugh and I am afraid she is going to be a talker like her momma. She is already blah blah blahing!! Sometimes it sounds like she is saying DA DA....but I don't think she knows what she is saying. She loves to hear herself make sounds. She is so cute. I love her so much!!

So I have been so horrible at updating my blog.

Below is a Belly pic I have taken within the last week. My belly looks bigger than ever....!!!

I had a doctor's appt. on Monday. Doctor checked but I am not dialated any. She says Lillian is very low. So maybe any day now. I am trying to think positive but I really think she is going to make me wait a while longer!!! :-)

Belly Pic at 28 weeks.

My big belly at 28 weeks and 5 days. Lillian is getting bigger. She is very active. Some days she kicks me just right and it takes my breathe away. I love feeling her move around. She hasn't really woke me up at night with kicking so that is nice of her. I am standing in her room.

Here is a closer up picture of my growing belly. I never realize just how much bigger it is until I compare it to an earlier picture.

Lillians Room

The nursery is Complete now. We picked up the Crib this weekend. We were able to pick up the Dresser and Glider a couple of weeks ago. The room is ready for Lillian. I hope she loves it!

The Glider is so Comfortable. I can't wait to be able to rock Lillian to sleep in it.

On Saturday, Preston and I went to our Prenatal Imaging appointment to see our Lillian close up. We loved the 3D pics. We also got a video of our little girl.

Lillian really liked showing us her cute little hands and feet. Here her toe is touching her nose. Doesn't she have cute feet.

She is such a good girl. She is covering her mouth as she is yawning. So cute!!

I think she was tired of us taking her picture. Looks like she is yelling at us!!

Belly Pic at 21 weeks and 2 days!

On Saturday, I had Preston take another belly pic. Lillian is 21 weeks and 2 days old. The more she grows the bigger my belly gets. They told us on Friday that she weighed 15 oz. They also weighed me and told me that I had gained 3 pounds since my last visit - 4 weeks ago. I have gained a total of 6 pounds so far. At the looks of my belly you would think I would have gain a lot more than that!!

A closer up belly pic. I usually don't wear blue but I really like this shirt!! And the adidas pants I have on are my favorite lounging pants. Preston's sister, Kelli, loaned them to me. I love them!! I recommend them for all Pregnant women...and even if you are not pregnant you should get a pair. So Comfortable!!

We are having a GIRL!!

On Friday, Preston and I found out that we were having a little girl. They told us that she was measuring and weighing right where she should be. They told us that she is perfect!! That was very reassuring. The first picture we saw of our little girl was her arm and it looked like she was waving at us. She was showing us her little Bicep!!


We have already picked out a name for our little girl...Lillian Grace.!! It is so nice to be able to finally call her by her name!

Preston and I both picked out a piece of clothing on Friday for Lillian. I picked out a pink outfit that has Eore on the front from the Winnie the Pooh characters. It reads "B is for Butterfly." It came with a bonnet! I thought it was adorabe.

Preston picked out the above Baby Tee that reads..."My First Chiefs Tee." Her Daddy is hoping she is going to love the Chiefs as much as he does. She will also learn to love the Cubs and Royals.

Excited for Friday!!

Tomorrow Preston and I find out if we are going to have a little boy or little girl! We are so excited! I hope I can sleep tonight!! My appointment is at 8:30am. I made it for as early as they would let me. I just hope our little one is not shy tomorrow. It usually moves around and kicks some after I eat breakfast - so that will be perfect. So until tomorrow....we wait!!

Moving and Kickn'

So today I went to lunch with some girlfriends from work. We needed to get out of the office for awhile! We went to Chic-Fil-a. Love that place. I ordered a Sweet Tea, just because I hadn't had one in a long time and it just sounded good. I try to stay away from the caffeine for the baby's sake. But not today. It was so good. Well I think I may have discovered that the baby likes Sweet Tea too!! Just like Mom. It was moving and kicking most of the afternoon. I think it may have been on a sugar rush!! I usually don't feel it too much at work. Just at night when I am laying down. It is such a cool feeling.

Preston did feel the baby kick for the first time last night. He was super excited! I wasn't sure if he was going to be able to feel it or not. The kicks are not super strong yet, but they are there. I was glad he was able to feel the baby. I think it kicked him about three times.

It must know I am talking about it because it is kicking at this very moment!! I guess I better lay off the sweet tea!! HA HA!! :0)

I just love dogs! I just had to post this picture I received it in an email forward! It was just too cute not to share!! I even saved it as my desktop wallpaper on my work computer. I am a sucker for dog pics.

Preston and I went to a Wedding Reception on Saturday to celebrate the wedding of my friend Alisha. Her and her husband Shane got married in St. Augustine, Florida on Decemeber 27th. Before her wedding reception I went and had my hair highlighted and chopped off. I took 4 inches off. It was getting too long!! It is a lot easier to manage when it is shorter. I didn't realize just how pregnant I looked until I took this picture. Crazy! :-) Goodbye Skinny Belly!!



This is my beautiful Friend, Alisha. She is such a sweet girl! :-) She had over 300 people at her reception. Both her and her husband have huge families.

My Belly at 17 and 19 weeks.

So I have started taking the belly pics to watch my belly grow over the next few months. I had Preston take a picture of my belly at week 17. There wasn't much to see...



And then sometime in a two week span I popped out. The next picture is me at 19 weeks. Crazy!!

We are now in our 21st week as of today January 20th. I know the blog says this was posted on the 11th, but that is when I started writing this post. I couldn't get my pictures to attach so my nice friend Danielle posted them for me today!!

I will try to keep up with my belly pics. This morning I stayed home from work because I was sick. Think I might have caught a touch of the flu. But feeling a lot better now. Something really cool happened this morning while I was laying in bed feeling blah though....I felt the baby moving and kicking. It was like tiny flutters. I kept getting the flutters for about 10 minutes straight. It was a great feeling. I had thought I had been feeling stuff for about a week now but never knew for sure it that was the baby or something else... This morning it was the baby!! I can't wait until Preston can feel the kicks with me! Very exciting.
Only 9 more days now until we can find out!!

My First Post

My very first post. How exciting!! I follow my friend's post (Danielle) all the time. So I decided this would be a great way to keep everyone updated on my life and on babytalbot. Preston and I found out we would be welcoming a new addition to the family on October 2nd, when I took a pregnancy test (a digital one) and it said "Pregnant" - one of the most exciting days of my life!! We were so excited and Scared!!!

So now here it is 4 and 1/2 months later. We have heard the heartbeat several times. I love that sound. I loved it so much I decided to rent a fetal doppler for our home. So now we can listen to our baby's heartbeat anytime we want. It is very reassuring!! Preston is better at finding it than I am!! I rented it from www.heartbeatsathome.com

We have also picked out our nursery theme. We chose Teddy Bears. No we don't know what we are having yet, but we decided that teddy bears would go with either a boy or girl. Preston is the one who got online one night and found this amazing site full of nursery themes. We are waiting to paint until after we find out the sex of the baby. We know we want Green but if it is a boy it will be a darker green and if it is a girl it will be more of a pastel color. We have an ultrasound appt. set up on January 30th to find out the sex. I just hope our little one isn't shy and lets us see the goods!! HA HA!!

My last Doctor's appt was on the 5th of January and the heartbeat was at 150 bpm. It was beating so fast!!!
